The Lake Oswego Swim Club is a USA Swimming, year round competitive swim team. We provide quality instruction for swimmers, from novice to nationally ranked, in a positive and challenging environment.

LOSC is one of the premiere swim teams in the Pacific Northwest. We hold 52 Oregon Swimming records, 12 #1 National rankings, 2 National Age Group records, and are home to a 2006-2007 American Swim Coaches Association Coach of the Year. These achievements are the result of the fun, enthusiasm and hard work of the swimmers, coaches and parents.

| LOSC Chosen for Olympic Development Camp Friday, April 11, 2008LOSC has been chosen to participate in USA Swimming's Olympic Development Camp. Only about 50 teams of the 2600+ clubs in the nation receive this honor. This visit confirms the success of LOSC, whose combination of talent and hard work has our swimmers performing at a national level, currently holding 2 NAG records and 8 #1 national rankings. Master Coach Bob Steele will be at LOSC April 14-17 to work with swimmers, coaches and parents, challenging them to rise even higher and perhaps plant the seed of Olympic dreams in even the youngest of our swimmers. | LOSC 2nd at NWAG Sectionals! Tuesday, March 18, 2008LOSC was 2nd overall and the highest placing Oregon team (for the second year in a row)! LOSC's 37 swimmers earned a total of 650 points, behind King Aquatic's (WA) 80 swimmers' 960 points. 8 new OSI records were set by LOSC: Grace Carlson (Girls 12 50 Fly, 100 IM); Karen Turner (Girls 14 100 back, 200 IM, 100 Fly); Grace Carlson, Brie Balsbough, Brenda Cha, Celia Keany (11-12 Girls 200 Medley relay); Daniel Chen, Nick Bode, Alex Lyons, Gunnar Wolfe (13-14 Boys 200 Free relay, 13-14 Boys 200 Medley relay). LOSC swimmers Karen Turner, Daniel Chen, Grace Carlson and Brenda Cha were also High Point winners for the meet.

| LOSC #1 at CAT A/B Open Wednesday, January 16, 2008Congratulations to all our swimmers who participated in the CAT A/B Open in Corvallis last weekend. | 11-12 Girls 200y Free Relay State Record Re-Broken! Tuesday, January 15, 2008The relay team of Grace Carlson, Cassidy Robinson, Brenda Cha and Celia Keany lowered the OSI record they set on January 4 with a new time of 1:40.25 at the CAT A/B Open last weekend. Way to go girls! |
| Yet Another Record Falls to LOSC Sunday, January 06, 2008The 11-12 Girls 200y Free Relay Oregon state record was broken today by the team of Grace Carlson, Cassidy Robinson, Brenda Cha and Celia Keany with a time of 1:40.70, beating the previous record of 1:42.31 set by Tualatin Hills in 2003. | Another State Record Thursday, November 29, 2007Karen Turner broke the 13-14 Girls 50y Free Oregon state record this morning while competing at Sr. Nationals in Atlanta. Her time of 23.65 upset Tori Simenec's time of 23.75 set in 2007. Way to go Karen! |
| LOSC Swimmers Recognized at OSI Awards Saturday, November 24, 2007Twenty members of the Lake Oswego Swim Club were honored at the Oregon Swimming Annual Awards Ceremony, held Sunday, November 18 at the Multnomah Athletic Club. Each year, swimmers, coaches and parents from Oregon and southwest Washington come together to honor the top five swimmers in each event and age group. Twenty LOSC swimmers held 124 top five swims for the 2006-2007 short course/2007 long course season. Other outstanding swimming performances by LOSC team members that were recognized were 47 National Top 16 times, including three first place relays, plus 27 new state records! This was a great wrap-up to a wonderful year for LOSC, which included placing 2nd at NW Age Group Sectionals (the highest placing Oregon team), a 2nd place finish at 11&Over States, and Head Coach Coley Stickels being named Coach of the Year by the American Swim Coaches Association for 2006-2007. |
