Emily attended UCLA on a swimming scholarship from 1998-2002 where she was a National Qualifier as well as a Pac-10 finalist. She currently coaches a US Masters swim team and was the coach for the Cleveland High School Swim Team in Portland.

Mike swam for Boston University where he excelled as a sprinter and relay specialist and he was team Captain his senior year. He recently graduated from Northwestern University, with a Masters Degree in Education. He and his wife just moved to Portland for his wife’s residence program at OHSU.

Courtney is a USA Swimming certified coach, ASCA level II and US Masters ASCA level II registered coach, and a US Masters competitive swimmer. She is currently the head coach of the Willamette Valley Aquatic Club Masters Program. She was an age group coach at WVAC, TTSC and coached the Cleveland High School swim team.
